Opinion on The Jodi Arias Trial

On June 9th 2008, 30 year old Travis Alexander was found stabbed twenty-seven times, shot to the head and his throat in his Arizona home. His ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias, is being trialed for first degree murder. Though Jodi had lied to the court twice of her whereabouts, the first being that she had an alibi with a boyfriend in California, then visually seeing Travis being murdered by a male and female "Ninja" or people in black, Jodi had told the court she was the one that killed Travis, in she proclaims that it was to her defense to murder, because Travis was abusive and a "womanizer". I asked Rochelle Ober her opinions on the Jodi Arias Case.

#1
Q: Do you feel that Jodi Arias had murdered Travis because it was self defense?
A: "No I believe she was a jealous, and angry because he didn't want to be with her anymore and killed him with forceful rage."

#2
Q: Jodi speaks of going into a "fog" sort, causing her memory to be faded. Do you feel it was from trauma or was it to protect her side of the case?
A: "Defiantly, I feel that she is a complete liar and was protecting her side of the case."

#3
Q: In the beginning of the trial, reporters mention how Jodi is worried about her image, saying how she needs make up before going with the police, and before a prison interview. How does this create her character for you?
A: "My first impression of her is self-centered, ieuand narcissistic. Jodi cares more of her looks on camera than the fact that she took someone's life."

#4
Q: Do you believe Travis was the man that was described by Jodi, an abuser and womanizer, or what other people like close family and friends said he Uwas, the kind heartened person who does a lot of good for people. Do you feel there was a secret side to him that people do not know?
A: "No I feel he was a good person, very genuine and honest. There was proof that the family and friends knew he was a good man. It only seems that Jodi would make up the things of Travis being an abuser because it would create the image that she was the victim. "

#5
Q: Do you believe the prosecutor, Juan Martinez, is doing a good job prosecuting this case?
A: " Although I feel that he is doing his best he can, at times Martinez is going in circles and picking on the unimportant things of the case."
